[Music] Nature Detectives began back in 1984 as a kids insert to our quarterly Images magazine. It was designed to help inspire kids to engage with nature and to get out and explore. Today, 40 years later, Nature Detectives continues through our natural history programs as well as our very popular Adventure Guide. [Music] These interactive booklets guide children through a variety of exploration activities unique to each of the 10 parks where you can find them. All kids need is a pencil, a sense of adventure, and the willingness to explore the world around them. [Music] Led by our mascot Sherlock Fox, kids become Nature Detectives using their five senses to explore and uncover the mysteries that surround them in our 10 parks. [Music] After completing the nature guides, just deposit the guide back at the adventure station or mail it into Boulder County Parks and Open Space. We'll send along a prize to encourage further exploration. The more books you do the better the prize becomes. Adventure guides are available at our parks from Memorial Day through October and our guides are available in both English and Spanish. [Music] We're excited to see what you find in your nature guides. Deposit them in the box or send them in soon.
